The Miami Beach Democratic Club will be holding elections for Vice President, Secretary, Parliamentarian and Board of Directors Seats #1 and #3 at the end of our General Membership Meeting on Monday, March 15th at 7 PM. This post explains the process for voting in those elections—please be sure to read it all the way through. You must be a dues-paying member of the club in order to vote.

Hello members of the Miami Beach Democratic Club!

The Nominating Committee wanted to let you know that we have an election of Officers and two Board of Director positions coming up on Monday, March 15, 2021. And we want you to run for office!

How would you like to play a role in shaping the future of the Miami Beach Democratic Club?

The Miami Beach Democratic Club holds Board of Directors elections each March, and this year we have several seats up for re-election, including Vice President, Secretary, Parliamentarian and Board of Directors Seats #1 and #3. Before our elections and per our bylaws (Article IX, Section 2), a Nominating Committee consisting of five paid members will present at least one candidate for each elective office at our February monthly meeting.

Thank you! We've elected Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to be our next President and Vice-President! Decency, Democracy and inclusion won over fear, anger and division. Faith in America has been restored. And locally, we went 3-for-4 here in Miami Beach!

Our #BeachCaravan was a huge success! We had over 40 cars and VIP appearances by Donna Shalala, Daniella Levine Cava and Lucia Baez Geller. See photos and video of the event below!

The Miami Beach Democratic Club is proud to announce our candidate endorsements for the 2020 General Election! They are:

Donna Shalala - U.S. Congress
Daniella Levine Cava - County Mayor
Eileen Higgins - County Commissioner
Lucia Baez Geller - School Board

With mail ballots going out today across Miami-Dade County and Early Voting starting from October 19th to November 1st and Election Day on November 3rd, the Miami Beach Democratic Club wanted to provide our members with some recommendations as they fill out their ballots.

What an event! If you weren't able to join us for our Protect the Vote Miami event this past Wednesday that was full of information and ways to make sure you can vote safely and protect our vote, don't worry because we got you covered.
