The 2022 Primary Elections are over and we now have our Democratic slate for the big Midterm Elections this fall! During the Primary period we focused on GOTV efforts and held several events combining politics with fun to build voting muscle and Democratic enthusiasm.

The Primary Election is here. Early Voting runs from Monday, August 8 through Sunday, August 21 and the last day to vote (AKA election day) is Tuesday, August 23. We will be choosing our Democratic slate for the fall General Election, electing Circuit and County Judges and deciding on 6 referendum questions for Miami Beach residents. The upcoming Primary Election presents six referendum items that the Miami Beach electorate have to consider and vote on. The issues for the referendum this August range from real estate, residency requirements and the need for a new park name in South Beach. In the voting process, the public has to be educated and informed on each of the issues to allow them to make the right decisions. Each of the six items on the referendum is reviewed and explained to help voters to have a better grasp and understanding of the issues.

We held another exciting MBDC General Membership meeting this past Monday, July 18, 2022! It was packed with elected officials, candidates and surrogates alike.
