The Miami Beach Democratic Club will be holding elections for seven spots on our executive board during our meeting on Monday, June 22 at 7 pm. Because the meeting will take place over Zoom, we will be using a service called ElectionBuddy to tabulate votes. This post outlines the process of voting with ElectionBuddy. Each time we vote during the meeting, you will receive an email at the address where you normally receive messages from the Miami Beach Dems. The email will contain a link to the ballot along with a unique access key and password, which you will use to log into ElectionBuddy. (To prevent this email from going to spam, please add [email protected] to your email contacts.)

When you click on the link, you'll be taken to the ElectionBuddy website. Enter your access key and password, and click "Authenticate."

Next you'll see the ballot. Select the candidate of your choice and click "Verify your selection."

On the next screen, you'll review your ballot. Click "Edit ballot" if you want to choose a different candidate, or "Submit ballot" to confirm your choice.

Finally, you'll see a confirmation screen with a verification code. You'll also receive this code via email.
