Amanda Knapp, Ph.D.

Amanda Knapp, Ph.D., is a Co-Founder and President of the Miami Beach Democratic Club, where she leads grassroots organizing, voter engagement, and community-driven initiatives to strengthen local democracy. With over a decade of experience in civic leadership and social activism, she has organized advocacy campaigns, public forums, and volunteer programs focused on expanding access, protecting civil rights, and increasing political participation.

She holds a Ph.D. in Public Affairs, with a focus on public policy and systems-level responses to critical social issues. Her work bridges research and action, using data, community partnerships, and strategic programming to drive meaningful change at the local level.

Amanda is passionate about empowering individuals to get involved in their communities and believes that lasting impact starts with local action.
