Many of us are experiencing a range of stressful emotions related to the pandemic, as a result of living in isolation, constantly being in a state of heightened awareness in regard to safety, hesitancy to take the vaccination, as well as returning to work/public place. Join your friends from the Miami Beach Democratic Club as we invite two mental healthcare professionals to share their insights, knowledge, and recommendations with us.

Our guest mental healthcare experts will be Dr. Safir Azam, MD and Dr. Raul Soto-Yulfo, Psy.D. Dr. Azam, is a psychiatrist with a Miami Beach private practice since 2013. Dr. Soto-Yulfo is a doctoral fellow in clinical psychology whose professional interests include adult psychotherapy and assessments/evaluation. Read their full biographies below.

In addition to discussing the current state of affairs and coping skills, we will also discuss how President Biden’s American Rescue Plan has made healthcare insurance for all healthcare needs more accessible and affordable for more Americans.

Join the Miami Beach Democratic Club on Thursday, May 6th, at 7:00 PM for this timely discussion.

The event will be held on Zoom. Click here to register:
